Claire Liz Phillips
laire is a stage and film actress originally from Austin, Texas. She received her BFA in Acting Performance and BA in Music from Oklahoma City University in 2013. While at the university she travelled to London to study advanced Shakespeare at Kingston University in 2012. She studied voice under Emmy winning opera tenor Jeffrey Picón. After graduating she travelled to Toronto, Canada to train at Rapier Wit. There she became certified as a Basic Actor Combatant for stage and screen by the Fight Directors of Canada.
She then moved to Los Angeles and immediately began filming the feature film Lake of Fire, directed by Raj Thiruselvan which has an early 2015 release date. She then was the lead in the short films Edquina de la Felicidad, I Can Hear My Heartbeat, Next One, Carne, and Baby Blues. She was featured dancing in the films Platinum the Dance Movie, My Name is Karma, and Love in Moreno Valley. Claire recently finished shooting the film The Chance, directed by Dmitriy Eugene, as well as being featured in the film Throw the Dog a Bone, which begins filming summer 2014.
Her favorite past theatre credits include Anna in Closer, Margaret in Woyzeck, Annie in Chicago, Betsy in Sweet Charity, and her two cross gender Shakespeare roles of Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and Cassius in Julius Caesar. Claire is also an accomplished dancer, she is a two time national champion and will be seen soon in the upcoming Sean Kingston music video. She has travelled around the US as a competition judge and has choreographed award winning routines.
