Daniel Ryan Wallach
aniel is an actor from Palo Alto, California. Starting Acting at a very early age, Daniel spent years performing in youth theatre and spent his summers in conservatory at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London amongst others. At home In the Bay Area, Daniel trained at the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) His Bay Area credits include Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Nym/Gower/York in Henry V with Shady Shakespeare Theatre Company. Daniel made his professional Debut in the summer of 2012 as Robert Faulconbridge in King John with Marin Shakespeare Company.
Along with Unmasqued’ Co-Artistic Director, Drew Feldman, Daniel trained intensively in the National Theatre Institute at the famed Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford Connecticut. While at the O’Neill, Daniel met and collaborated with many wonderful and super amazing theatre artists he hopes to continue to work with in the future.
Daniel is currently a student in the conservatory program at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in pursuit of a BFA in Acting. Daniel’s passion for Shakespeare knows no limits, and it just so happens that the year he just completed focused entirely on performing Shakespeare! Also this year, Daniel produced a production of Lyle Kessler’s Orphans in which he also played the role of Phillip. Other CalArts credits include Kapo/Guard in Martin Sherman’s Bent directed by Fran Bennett. Daniel also had the opportunity to dip his hands in some film work at school this year, being an actor for students in the CalArts film School.
Daniel is a lover of random facts, Disneyland, water with mint leaves, baking delicious things, and to the disbelief of his friends, the great outdoors.
