Originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma, Josh graduated from Oklahoma City University with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Directing in May of 2012. While living in Oklahoma City, he became an actor and fight choreographer for Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park (his favorite roles included Angelo in Measure for Measure, Flute/Thisby in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cloten in Cymbeline, and Banquo in Macbeth). He also worked with the Oklahoma Children’s Theatre as an actor, fight choreographer, and stage combat teacher.
After graduating from college, Josh moved to Toronto, where he studied stage combat at Rapier Wit, Canada’s oldest stage combat training school, and became a member of the Fight Directors of Canada. He is a certified Basic Actor Combatant and is returning to Rapier Wit in June for his Intermediate certification.
Josh now lives in LA, where he works as a teacher and also as a founding member of his production company: Watchtower Productions. Everyday Ninja, Watchtower’s first webseries, will premiere in August of this year. Josh is also an accomplished drummer (with two albums under his belt), a slightly less-accomplished guitar player, a singer, a writer, and quite possibly the world’s biggest Batman fan (evidenced by a fairly large tattoo on his left leg).
