was born and raised in Mustang, OK. He finished his BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University’s School of Theatre in December of 2012. Upon graduating he moved to Los Angeles, CA where he is now working and climbing mountains in his spare time. He is an ensemble member at the critically-acclaimed Road Theatre Company. Other theatre work includes: Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, CityRep Theatre Co., Reduxion Theatre Co., Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Parks, and Oklahoma Children’s Theatre. He recently wrapped on Bert I. Gordon’s next film, Secrets of a Psychopath, which is slated to be coming out later this yearOther film work includes: Home Run, Hollis, Sightlines, and Those Lighter Fluid Days (shooting in the summer of 2014). His acting and directing work has earned him a few award nominations including Best Actor at the Trail Dance Film Festival for his work in Dancing in the Chamber. His short film Josephine recieved 2 nominations for Best Short Film at the Bare Bones Film Festival and the Back in the Box Film Competition. The film also screened at the New Orleans Independent Film Festival and deadCenter Film Festival. Ty is an avid rock-climber and long-distance backpacker. He is represented by APA (agency) and Luber Roklin Entertainment (management).
